CBRCanada Webinar: Moving the Dial On Housing Affordability & Advocacy
This webinar will delve into a community-based participatory research study “South Etobicoke Housing Affordability”, led by Salomeh Ahmadi, Humber College, in partnership with LAMP Community Health Centre that focuses on improving the health and wellbeing of the most marginalized in South Etobicoke (Toronto), specifically low-income, seniors and students who face housing affordability issues.
There are many issues standing in the way of affordable housing in cities across Canada. They pose threats to those facing poverty, health challenges, and others including working-class citizens, students, and seniors. This webinar will not only document the problems, but it will explore ways to leverage research results in advocating for policy changes.
